	Paint-by-the-Sea Workshop Information

	Location
	CARMEL: Our workshops are held in spacious light infused painting studios in Carmel-by-the-Sea. We believe that each painter needs plenty of space to create their work so we always feature individual painting stations.. Carmel is located on the Central Coast of California, 2.5 hours south of San Francisco and 5 hours north of Los Angeles. Directions and a map are listed below. WHIDBEY ISLAND Our Pacific Northwest Whidbey workshops are held in at the Open Door Gallery in Langley and the Pacific Northwest School of the Arts. Whidbey Island is located 1.5 hours northwest of Seattle.

	Lodging
	Numerous Motels, Lodges and Resorts are located in both Carmel and on Whidbey Island To see all your options, we suggest using a search engine (ie: Google) to research accommodations and pricing.

	Workshop Hours
	Unless otherwise stated in your confirmation letter, workshop hours are from 10:00 - 4:00 each day.

	Meals
	Several cafes, delicatessens and restaurants are located minutes away from all of our locations in Carmel and on Whidbey Island.

	Attire
	Please wear comfortable painting attire and shoes that can withstand paint splatters and spills!

	Materials List
	A materials list will be mailed, faxed or emailed to you after workshop registration has been completed.

	Registration and Cancellation Policy
	Payment: Payment in full is required to confirm registration. If you would like to pay by credit card, please call (831)238-1151 and we will process your payment over the phone. If paying by check, please mail to: Paint-by-the-Sea 2271 White Fir Place Freeland, WA 98249 Registration Minimum: Workshops with less than 6 participants may be cancelled up to one weeks prior to the scheduled date. Tuition will be refunded or credited to another workshop of your choice. If you are making non refundable travel arrangements that will not allow you to cancel one weeks before the date of departure, we strongly advise purchasing travel insurance. Check with your travel agent for more details on travel insurance. Instructor: In the unlikely event that a scheduled instructor is not able to teach a workshop, we will provide an alternate instructor for the workshop. Cancellation & Requests for Credits or Refunds: Please note that due to our space rental commitments we are not able to offer refunds on workshops. Cancellations made within two weeks of the class date will receive a credit for a future workshop. Workshop credits must be used within one year of the original class date. Thank you!

	Detailed directions and a class schedule will be sent along with your materials list two weeks prior to your workshop.
