In August of 2008 we relocated to beautiful Whidbey Island, WA located 1 hour (and one scenic ferry ride) northwest of Seattle, Washington. Thanks to all our artists and patrons who supported our Carmel gallery the past 5 years. We continue to offer the art of Lauryn Taylor and our featured web artists as well as painting workshops in both Carmel and on Whidbey Island. Picturesque Carmel-by-the-Sea is located 2.5 hours south of San Francisco on the Central Coast of California. Our Carmel acrylic and encaustic workshops are held in a spacious light infused studio in the heart of downtown Carmel. Lodging, restaurants and shopping surround the studio. After a day of painting, stroll down the street to Carmel's famous white sand beach or schedule a relaxing massage at Carmel's best: Petite Retreat.

Discover the pastoral beauty of Whidbey Island. Located in Puget Sound about 1.5 hours northwest of Seattle, Whidbey Island is surrounded by the majestic scenery of the Cascade mountains to the east and the Olympic mountains to the south. Wander a secluded driftwood strewn beach or through the charming seaside towns of Langley or Coupeville.
